The Fire Department Connection (FDC) is an important component found on most sprinkler and standpipe systems. When a sprinkler system activates, the first emergency response team arriving on-site connects hose lines from a pumper truck to the fire department connection. Fire sprinkler systems are important first lines of defense against fires - however, these are quickly depleted from pressurized water. An FDC allows a firefighter to hook either a water truck, or other external water source, up to the building's sprinkler system to provide adequate water and pressure to facilitate the continued operation of a sprinkler system during an emergency.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
