Emergency lighting systems serve an important role in a disaster as they provide sufficient exit lighting for building occupants to be able to locate a means of egress. Emergency escape lighting typically identifies exit signs with verbage indicating a close-by exit, as well as providing flood lighting to ensure that sufficient light is available for people to be aware of their surroundings. This form allows an inspector to check the following: (1) that normal power is run to the lighting system; (2) that batteries are in working order; (3) that lamps illuminate correctly; and (4) that these lights turn off during a power failure or emergency.

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
