Employees in a position where they may have to work alone, may be subject to danger that would otherwise be less severe. Accordingly, a work alone policy is a sound party of any workplace safety procedure. This checklist covers personal protective equipment, emergency contact information, a check-in procedure, a risk assessment/hazard assessment of a work site, a prohibition on trench or confined space work, and a process, and communication device, for notifying supervisors or managers of potential hazards, or problems that may arise from working alone. Lone work safety cannot be understated as a person that suffers an injury in workplace while alone, may not be able to get access to help, and those with inflicted with a critical injury may end up in situations where the mitigation of hazards must occur immediately, and as a lone worker, the resources to mitigate those hazards may not be readily available. Ultimately, the health and safety of employees and workers is of paramount importance, and protecting lone workers is a necessary part of a company's operational activities. This form can help with that goal.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
