The Abandoned Underground Mine: Detailed Surface Deformation Site Evaluation mobile app is intended to assist in the process to manage roadway sites beneath which abandoned underground mines exist. The principles and the basic risk management process documented in this app can also provide a basic framework into which states might insert their own state-specific criteria to produce a risk management system for similar geologic conditions such as karst or for other geologic hazards. The mobile app records mine site details and a description, criterion, criterion weighing factor, site condition, rating value, individual criterion rating and comments. The app is intended for a detailed surface deformation site evaluation.
