Commercial Fishing Vessel: EPIRBs Mobile App

"The Commercial Fishing Vessel EPIRB Regulations mobile app provides an easy to use safety regulations checklist that helps ensure compliance with federal regulations applicable to Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB) and other safety equipment used on uninspected commercial fishing vessels.
Designed to help increase marine safety in the fishing industry, the safety regulations app is accessible from any smartphone or tablet and can be used on small fishing vessels and larger fishing boats. Simply open the app to generate a new checklist and you'll be prompted to run through a variety of checks related to EPIRBs. The marine safety app includes verifying that everyone on the fishing boat is trained on how to use the beacon and related safety equipment, checking the watertight integrity of the system in case of vessel stability issues, testing the battery power and testing the distress signal.
