School Fire and Life Safety Inspection Checklist (New Hampshire) Mobile App
The School Fire and Life Safety Inspection Checklist mobile app is intended for use by local authorities in conducting required inspections of existing school facilities in New Hampshire.
How does it work?
Instead of filling out paper checklists when visiting different school locations, local fire departments and compliance officers can track the results of their inspections electronically. The app is easily accessible from any smartphone or tablet, and the results are saved electronically and can be printed as a PDF form or emailed directly to the Department of Education.
The fire and life safety inspection is part of the Department of Education school approval process. An inspection is required to show that a public school is in compliance with NH Administrative Rule Ed 306.07 and that a nonpublic school is in compliance with NH Administrative Rule Ed 403.01(c). The inspection of schools is also regulated by RSA 153:14, II (b).
