Barcode scanning can be enabled in your app. You can set up the app yourself (see directions below), or contact our Sales team to help you at Sales@GoCanvas.com. *Note: Before you can get started you will need to download the GoCanvas Utility Pack App from the Android Market or GoCanvas Plus from the Apple App Store (For BlackBerry: Barcode scanning is only available on devices that are running BlackBerry OS 6.0 and above i.e. BB Torch). How to enable Barcode Scanning in your app:

Log In to your GoCanvas account at www.gocanvas.com and go to MyApps. This is located under the MyHome tab. Select the App you would like to personalize and click the Edit icon. Add a Text Box field (Barcode scanning only works with a Text Box) to the screen. Click the “Advanced” drop down. Check Box option for “Barcode Enabled”. Check “Done” Once you have finished editing, at the top of the GoCanvas App Builder, click Save and select Save, Close and Publish. Start the GoCanvas Application on your mobile device and press the “Click to Synchronize” button when you login.
