Lead Poisoning Education Guidelines: Managing K-12 Student With Lead Exposure Mobile App
Childhood lead poisoning remains a critical environmental health concern.
How does it work?
Childhood lead exposure has been linked to a number of adverse cognitive outcomes, including reduced performance on standardized intelligence quotient tests, decreased performance on cognitive functioning tests, ad-verse neuropsychological outcomes, neurobehavioral deficits, decreased end-of-grade test scores and classroom attention deficit behaviors. The Lead Poisoning Education Guidelines: Managing K-12 Student With Lead Exposure mobile app was designed to assist educators in helping reduce the risk of lead exposure in children. The app covers Child Find, Immediate Interventions, and Levels 1-3 and corresponding actions per each level. GoCanvas allows you to use a "List" function so that you don’t have to create a lot of identical screens in your app.
