Office 5S Red Tag Log Mobile App

The 5s Red Tag Log mobile app for offices makes it easy to track items that have been red tagged as part of a 5s Lean Manufacturing Audit. An important step in the visual management process that was designed to increase total productive maintenance, red tagging helps get rid of unnecessary items and unwanted items from office settings.

Removing unnecessary items from the work environment is an important part of lean methodology. During the red tagging process, employees tag items with red colored tags that are no longer used at work stations, including broken or used furniture, cleaning supplies that belong somewhere else and other unwanted items. The app, easily accessible from any smartphone or tablet, logs the item's tag number, item being tagged, reason for tagging and note and disposition. This simplifies the process of workplace organization and helps offices follow lean methodology.
