Rapid Health Assessment for Refugees: Questionairre Mobile App
Core features are free forever
Due to a variety of problems related to living conditions and medical and mental health services available, displaced persons are particularly vulnerable to infectious diseases.
How does it work?
To better understand the health issues impacting refugee groups, health professionals and social workers can conduct household surveys in communities. The Rapid Health Assessment for Refugees: Questionnaire app is an assessment of nutritional and vaccination status, as well as an evaluation of retrospective mortality. Using the app, the interviewer will ask questions about the family composition and children in the household, general food distribution, non-food items and shelter, nutrition for children, and measles vaccination coverage. The interviewer will also gauge the total number of deaths in the household within a certain period of time. The data collected from household surveys will inform infectious disease immunization programs and help health professionals to more effectively serve displaced persons.
