Notifiable Incident Notification Form Under Regulation 20 of the Chemicals Act (Ireland) Mobile App
Handling hazardous chemicals and other hazardous materials on a job site carries many risks.
Features
How does it work?
The chemicals can spill, causing respiratory issues for employees, or hazardous waste can mix, leading to poisonous gases, fires or explosions. Employees should take steps to avoid harm or injury in these types of situations, including wearing protective clothing and being properly trained in how to handle these toxic chemicals. When a major incident or accident involving chemical occurs on a job site, the project manager or general contractor on-site will need to send a report to the health and safety authority, or local occupational safety and health organisation. The Notifiable Incident Notification Form Under Regulation 20 of the Chemicals Act (Ireland) app should be used by an operator to outline the details of the accident. The app will include all the details about the incident including exact location, hazardous chemicals or radioactive material involved, time of the incident and clean up efforts. The app also includes an opportunity for the user to submit a full report or narrative of what happened and should include any law enforcement that was involved, emergency response efforts, and clean up procedures to minimize the impact on human and environmental health.
