Combined Motor Carrier Identification Report and Hazardous Materials Safety Permit Application Mobile App
The Combined Motor Carrier Identification Permit Form is a useful app designed for businesses in the transportation sector, specifically for motor vehicles requiring operators to have their CDL and for a commercial vehicle operator carrying hazardous materials.
How does it work?
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration process ensures that a commcercal motor carrier properly obtains a Department of Transportation (DOT) registration USDOT number. The FMCSA is also responsible for monitoring a motor carrier business to ensure they comply with needed requirements and regulations. This app combines FMSCA Form MCS-150B and hazardous material (HM) qualifications as a carrier or shipper. Motor vehicles, specifically motor carriers, are under the operating authority of the FMSCA. Those carriers that will transport hazardous materials or hazardous waste must have proper registration, and must be in compliance with motor carrier safety regulations. The use of this app can generate an application for a USDOT Identification Number, or can be used to prepare a transportation company that is transporting hazardous materials and engaging in transportation as a part of interstate commerce for submitting an application for their USDOT number.
