Soil analysis, and identifying and coding plants is important. This app allows landscape services to replace paper documents with electronic records, which can be accessed with a smartphone or tablet.

The Lawn and Garden Soil Test Information Sheet Mobile App will walk a landscaper through soil sampling for analysis, which can provide information on soil pH, nutrients, soil fertility, organic matter, nutrient levels, and fertilizer recommendations. It contains easy directions for obtaining soil samples, preparation of soil samples, and where to take the samples for testing.

When a landscape company uses this app, different soil testing packages can be offered to customers to evaluate different types of soil composition. The tests will determine what sort of nutrients are needed, such as potassium, phosphorus, organic matter, pH, soluble salts, lime, or fertilizer. Further testing could reveal a need for calcium, magnesium, boron, or sulfur.

This app can be customized to include the unique fields you need for your job, including the type of perennials, trees, turf, and shrubs. Also, the placement of plants within the design could be based on the water needs of each plant, so irrigation may be recommended in an area. When working with lawn care, specific equipment might be needed. Perhaps the customer wants a natural landscape design with native plants, which will require other materials. Once the mobile app is filled out, a secure PDF is generated, which is easy to share, and a copy is stored in your account for your records.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
