The PDF generated by the app will serve as the permanent record for the practical skills testing of an Airport Firefighter. This mobile app should be used for the evaluation of the firefighter student; however, the evaluator, division supervisor, or technician from the fire department should refer to the Indiana Department of Homeland Security Practical Skills book and NFPA standards for additional guidance on the proper completion of the demonstrated skill. The student should be evaluated on in-service training, tactical objectives, strategic priorities, excavation and trenching. REMINDER: A skill may not be evaluated by the instructor who taught that skill. The Trench Rescue Operations Skills Checklist form with NFPA standard requirements can be easily accessed through your GoCanvas account or downloaded from a PDF.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
