Residents of mobile home park units that have been affected can use the Mobile and Manufactured Homes Tax Relief Claim app to document losses for tax purposes. In the app, residents can declare that their property was located in a disaster area and that the manufactured home, mobilehome, or multifamily manufactured home was destroyed as a result of the recognized disaster. The app records when a unit was damaged to an extent that the cost of repair exceeds the value of the site-built homes prior to its destruction, or when the site-built homes/manufactured housing real estate have been declared a total loss for insurance purposes.
