The incinerator operator uses the app to ensure that only appropriate wastes are incinerated, and all other inappropriate wastes including plastics, aerosol cans, metallic containers or cans filled with waste oil are removed and handled accordingly.
How does it work?
The incinerator is a double chamber, controlled air incineration system designed to incinerate nonhazardous camp solid waste comprising of food waste, paper, cardboard, and other general domestic waste. This Incinerator Operation Plan is intended to provide general guidance and Standard Operating Procedure for operating the incinerator and follow good environmental practices related to waste management. The Incineration SOP: Recommended Maintenance and Inspection Checklist mobile app allows you to replace your paper inspection with a smartphone, tablet or computer. The mobile form includes fields to document items such as date, faculty, location, incinerator ID and captures operator's signature. Once the mobile app is filled out a secure PDF is generated. The PDF is easy to share, and a copy is stored in your account for your waste disposal records. You can also use the App Builder to personalize and customize this mobile form.
