Formal Hazard Assessment and Control (Canada)

Form Template

The Formal Hazard Assessment and Control app is a risk assessment form that allows the user to put together a list of tasks, associated hazard identification of risks with those tasks, and a three point scale that evaluates the severity of the risk, the likelihood of the risk occurring, and uses that to perform a hazard analysis, by calculating the severity of the risk coupled with the likelihood that it occurs.

Mitigation strategies, such as the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), engineering to prevent risk, etc., can be listed as controls. Ultimately, this formal safety assessment is able to increase the safety and well being of a company's employees and workers by making them aware of job hazards, and knowing how to prevent said hazards from manifesting into problems. Risk management is important for any business, and this form can make up an important part of a company's occupational health and safety program.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
