How to schedule dispatches
Dispatch allows you to pre-populate Canvas apps and then assign them to users in your account. This is a great way to assign jobs to your mobile workers so they know where to go, who to talk to when they get there and what needs to be done. For more information on how to use dispatch, click here.

Before you can create a dispatch, you have to enable it. To learn how to do this, click here. After you enable Dispatch you can follow these steps to schedule a dispatch:
- Go to the Dispatch tab under My Home.
- Click Create Dispatch.
- Choose the app you want to schedule the dispatch for.
- Once the dispatch options for that app drop down, choose Schedule Dispatch.
- Then you can set a date and time.
- Fill out the rest of the dispatch as you usually would and don't forget to save!
Using Schedule Dispatches
The dispatches will appear on the user's device the first time they sync their device on the day the dispatches are scheduled. The user will receive a notification for the dispatches after the sync.
After that they can see the specific times they are scheduled for by clicking on the app.
In summary, to schedule a dispatch all you have to do is select Schedule Dispatch when you are creating it. After you set the time and date, everything else is the same as creating a normal dispatch. They will appear on your users device after they sync on the day the dispatch is scheduled for. You can see the specific times they are scheduled for by clicking the app.
