While browser support is still very limited, there is promise on the horizon. Mobile Safari, with its hardware acceleration, renders 3D transforms extremely fast and with very little depth-sorting issues. It’s only a matter of time until other manufacturers release stable implementations. Many designers across the globe are experimenting with new powerful features of the language, using graceful degradation for users with older browsers and using the new possibilities of HTML5/CSS3 for users with modern browsers.
