Wachter Deploys GoCanvas to Eliminate Paperwork

GoCanvas announced today that it rolled-out its mobile Business App solution to a division of Wachter, Inc.’s Electrical Services Group.  Wachter, Inc. is a time-honored provider of electrical construction and technology services for voice, data, video and intelligent building systems throughout the U.S., Canada and U.K.

Prior to implementing GoCanvas, Wachter’s field workers completed paper forms on the jobsite including work orders and Wachter Worker using GoCanvas on Android Tabletcompletion agreements. Once signed by the customer, these documents were sent back to Wachter’s home office to confirm that electrical services were completed. Field personnel would fax these documents back using their customer’s fax machines.

Today, these very same forms which Wachter converted to mobile apps using Canvas’s easy drag-and-drop App Builder are being completed on their Samsung Galaxy Android Tablets. All of the same required fields of information once captured with pen and paper are now being selected from drop-down menus and check boxes along with electronic signature capture using their mobile devices. Critical information is now being sent back wirelessly to customers and backend systems. This not only speeds up the process, gaining work flow efficiency for Wachter, but eliminates the need to fax paperwork.  Based on the success of the GoCanvas service, Wachter created additional mobile infrastructrue apps surrounding safety inspections, inventory monitoring, evaluations and surveys that help drive even further efficiency and streamlining the way business data is being collected.

“What really made GoCanvas stand out from the crowd was their easy-to-use Application Builder and the fact that we could create exactly what we were looking for in less than an hour”, stated Mike Ricks, Electrical Service Manager, adding “The option to use the program with unlimited access for 30 days, at no charge, with no risk, really spoke to the confidence GoCanvas has in their product. The Flexible pricing options made their solution more affordable than Canvas’s competition.”

”Canvas is serving a growing community of subscribers throughout a number of industries as organizations look to transform their business with mobile apps.   Wachter is showing their industry and their clients that they live by their own tag phrase of Building Trust and… Delivering Technology “added James Quigley, CEO of GoCanvas.
