Property and Building Services Company Using GoCanvas Estimator App and Android to Improve Service

Estimate App for AndroidA California-based property and building services company is now using GoCanvas on Android devices to provide electronic estimates to their customers.  They offer a wide range of services from cosmetic remodeling to wall coverings to elastomeric waterproofing to customized building and property management services.  They have done work for businesses in Nevada, Washington, Arizona, and as far away as Massachusetts. They have outfitted roughly 20 employees with GoCanvas so they can quickly create an estimate on the spot and email it immediately to their customer.  

GoCanvas serves a large number of businesses in the construction space.  We have hundreds of pre-built construction Apps in our Application Store that allow construction and contracting businesses to create estimates, invoices, change orders, time sheets, and much more right on their mobile devices. In fact, GoCanvas recently partnered with Craftsman Book Company to offer the forms from its popular book "Construction Forms for Contractors" in Canvas's Application Store. These construction Apps will run on Apple, Android, and Blackberry (Including Blackberry PlayBook) mobile devices allowing businesses a great deal of flexibility in providing devices for their employees and not locking them in to a specific mobile platform.

In March this new GoCanvas customer took the plunge by deploying GoCanvas to roughly 20 employees with a field estimate App.  They can now capture a clear description of the work that needs to be done, the pricing, and their signature using GoCanvas.  A PDF containing all of this information is sent immediately to their customer.  No more paper forms.  No more messy handwriting to interpret. And copies of all estimates are safely stored in the GoCanvas cloud and can quickly be found with Canvas's recently enhanced search functionality.

This greatly improves the customer experience for their clients, too. After 18 years of being in business, this GoCanvas customer isn't resting on its laurels. It is constantly seeking ways to get better, which is probably the main reason it is in business after all of these years. 

Improving the way organizations interact with their customers, vendors, and partners is at the heart of what GoCanvas provides. Digital records that include images, signatures, GPS coordinates, and clear descriptions of interactions amongst people can greatly improve the way organizations function and the services they provide.
