A home delivery provider of oxygen and home medical products has turned to GoCanvas for a complete paperless data collection environment. This mid-sized business out of the western United States carries a full line of Respiratory, Ambulatory, Mobility and Assistance to Daily Living (ADL) products. Prior to launching GoCanvas their delivery personnel and marketing reps used a whole host of paper forms to gather customer information in the field and document the drop-off and pick up of various oxygen tanks and other home medical equipment. In doing so they experienced many of the same inefficiencies that a multitude of companies experience every day including delays in billing, lost and damaged forms, illegible handwriting, etc.
Today they are filling out basic delivery tickets, performing new customer registration and even vehicle inspections using custom mobile apps which they built and made available on their field personnel’s Android Smartphones. This featured GoCanvas subscriber has made a concerted effort to move completely away from paper and instead utilize their Android Sprint EVO Smartphones to collect customer information, track detailed data on oxygen delivered, and capture customer signatures all from their mobile devices.
Most recently, they have equipped marketing reps with GoCanvas apps to perform customer and hospital surveys where information can be collected in aggregate and reported on for process improvement and better customer service.
