Washington, D.C., May 17, 2019 – Reston, Virginia-based software company GoCanvas, Inc. today announced it is among the Washington, DC-area’s 2019 Best Places to Work. GoCanvas is one of just 25 companies named in the listing of large companies identified by Washington Business Journal as ones that “go beyond the norm to foster an enjoyable and meaningful work environment for their employees” in its annual survey of workplaces throughout the region.

Rather than relying on subjective assessments, the “Best Places to Work” survey relies on quantitative measures of perks, leadership, office space, culture and other criteria, with companies ranked based on employee responses to an anonymous employee engagement survey conducted by Omaha, Nebraska-based Quantum Workplace.

“The fact that this recognition reflects the direct feedback of our employees makes this an especially meaningful achievement,” said James Quigley, CEO and Founder of GoCanvas. “Our efforts to establish ourselves as an employer of choice flows from our commitment to our customers to be certain that we serve them with the brightest and most motivated talent.”

GoCanvas provides a flexible, customizable mobile platform that makes it simple for businesses to automate how work is done, eliminating barriers to productivity, such as filling out forms by hand, relying on inefficient manual workflows and having to engage in time-consuming data entry. Companies using GoCanvas’s platform span a variety of industries and include Sprint, Red Bull, Post Consumer Brands, LendLease, The Co-operative Group, and the Mirvac Group, as well as thousands of other domestic and global organizations.

In addition to its business operations, GoCanvas also works with non-profits around the world as part of its Ante-Up program, with participants receiving the GoCanvas product and customer support for free, as long as a sponsoring GoCanvas employee commits to “ante-up” to act as a liaison between the non-profit and GoCanvas. Organizations supported to date include Doctors Without Borders, Australian charities that give homeless babies a safe home, and the Venezuela Election Committee who secured exit poll data using the platform.
