Merchant Marine Mobile Apps with Canvas

The United States Merchant Marine is made up of the nation’s civilian-owned merchant ships and the men and women that crew them. The US merchant fleet has approximately 422 ships and 69,000 people. In order to help this amazing institution, GoCanvas is proud to announce a series of Merchant Marine Checklist Apps that are requirements for the rating and endorsement for your Merchant Mariner Credential. GoCanvas has launched dozens of these apps, depending on your area of specialty and class of ship.  For example, there is the Chief Engineer (OSV) 3,000 GT (ITC) Credential Checklist, the Able Seaman Credential Checklist, the Chief Mate of Steam & Motor (Any Gross Upon Oceans or Near Coastal Waters), and many, many more.

If you’re involved with Marine Safety, you will appreciate the detailed checklists that include Port State Controls Checklist, Open Tank Manhole Covers Checklist, Before Departure Checklist and Before Arrivals Checklist.

There are also several checklists to run safe and efficient watches for the Maritime Deck Department.

Do you already have your own Merchant Marine checklist (perhaps a paper form, or multiple forms) that you would like turned into a mobile app?  Not sure about going paperless? You can try GoCanvas Free for 30 days when you Sign Up.
