Tags: GoCanvas Subscribers - Who is Using GoCanvas?
A large aircraft refueling company that has been around for more than 60 years has recently decided to get rid of the headache that is paper and take those forms mobile. This Midwest company found GoCanvas and realized the potential right away. Almost everyone has a smartphone or tablet nowadays, so why not take advantage of it for business as well?
The company is starting to use GoCanvas in one sector in particular which involves Crane Inspections. It is very important to have the Cranes thoroughly inspected before they are used in any operational way. The users on the account were able to build a simple but effective GoCanvas app easily using the App Builder. The app builder allows you to drag and drop your way to your very own customized mobile application. This particular application took advantage of Checkboxes so they can quickly denote which items are relevant to the submission.
The other feature that was necessary for the users was the ability to create calculations. When dealing with Cranes, weight is a critical factor. Being able to quickly punch in different weights of different pieces and have the calculations immediately done for you makes life much easier for the person filling out the mobile form. GoCanvas has the ability create any calculation using Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division. So while this user needed to add weight, other companies can calculate prices, quantities, or anything else you can think of.
