My Apps

When you sign in to the Canvas web site, the first page you will see is “My Apps”. The My Apps page lists all the apps that you are editing or have published for your account. When you sign up, you get the “Sample Form” app by default. You can use the Sample Form app to understand the basics of how Canvas works. You’ll see that it has a status of “Published”. This means you will automatically get this app when you sign into Canvas on your Smartphone. Open the Sample Form app on your Smartphone and fill it out. You’ll find that it also gives you guidance for editing applications.

To learn how to make changes to an app, try editing the Sample Form app by clicking the “Edit” link from within the Canvas website. This will create a new version of the app. When you save your changes, the new version will be in a “Pending” status until you choose to publish it to users in your account. You can quickly get other apps by browsing or searching the Canvas App Store, or you can create your own apps from scratch by clicking the “Create New App” button.
