Email Options

If you have been running your businesses on paper sales order forms, chances are that you are paying extra money to have them printed in triplicate. The customer gets one copy. Another copy goes to accounting, and a third copy goes to the operations department for fulfillment. With Canvas you can automatically route a PDF of the order information to any person you want.

To route copies of the data collected by your app, click the More link on the My Apps page, then select "Email Options".

The Email Options page let's you set up your routing and distribution rules. Joe Comfie wants to see every order, so he'll select the third option, then put his email address in the box. His wife, Sue, keeps the books, so she'll get a copy, too. Finally his son, Steve, does the installation and service for the business, so he's also on the distribution list.
