Add Image Capture and a Survey

Using a smartphone for this order is pretty cool because we can do some things we can't do with paper. If we wanted to update our CRM database with photographs of our customers, we could do it with Canvas.

Let's add a screen to take a picture of our customer and ask her to fill out a brief survey.

An image capture field will let the mobile user either take a picture or select an image file from a picture he previously shot. The picture will become part of the form when it is submitted.

Make sure you give guidance to your users on how to set up the camera on their phones. We recommend you take pictures at the lowest size and quality that still meets your needs. This will reduce upload times and your network operator will thank you.

Another cool thing about Canvas is that we could change this survey on the fly as our information needs change.
