Bringing 20+ Years of Mobile and Wireless Experience to Canvas as the new V.P. of Sales & Business Development

Herndon, VA - August 2, 2010 – Canvas announced today that Joe Gatto is joining the company as VP of Sales & Business Development responsible for driving their direct sales initiatives and managing Canvas's partner program.

Joe is a mobile and wireless veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the mobile enterprise and mobile content space.

Prior to Canvas, Joe held leadership positions in sales, business development, and international partnerships having served as VP of Sales & Distribution at SkyZone Mobile (an SK Group Company), VP of Business Development & Alliances at Aether Systems, and various technical, sales and management positions with SkyTel Communications. Joe has managed both direct and indirect sales teams and has successfully established significant reseller relationships with large online retailers, global device manufactures, numerous wireless carriers, systems integrators, and boutique consultancies. Joe has also held roles within VetCentric and VIDITalk Corporation.
